The Complex Media Senior Promotions Manager is an exciting and dynamic position that supports the Marketing and Sales team producing various programs from concept to completion. The position is a combination of various roles and responsibilities. The Senior Promotions Manager will serve as a producer overseeing and managing brand campaigns in a post-sale capacity. These programs may range from production of photo and video shoots, small to large scale events, promotional strategy to partnerships and product collaborations. From wrangling talent to procuring vendors and securing permits, the promotions manager is involved in all facets of production of activations. The Senior Promotions Manager is also actively involved in brainstorming and conception of new ideas in the pre-sale process of the business.

 

The ideal candidate is resourceful, positive minded, hard working, solutions-oriented and enjoys wearing multiple hats. Teamwork is key as this role works with various departments and will utilize life experience and relationships to execute campaigns successfully.

 

Experience producing events, video, and photo shoots. Attention to detail in coordination is key as this role may be responsible for full project or working alongside vendors through to completion of the campaign. Versatility and a curious mind is valuable in this position as this team manages programs that cover the gamut from music, entertainment, sports, tech, style, etc.

 

Ability to travel is also crucial for this role as campaigns are national and may vary per market.

 

This team handles talent sourcing; relationships within influencer or entertainment networks may be valuable, but not a requirement. This candidate will also be responsible for projection and management of program budgets.

 

This role has a firm base of Los Angeles.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience
  • Available to travel 50-75% including weekends
  • Passion for lifestyle, fashion/sneakers, music, sports, entertainment and pop culture
  • Be organized, creative, outgoing, team player, solutions oriented and have a great work ethic
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment, being available both in the office and when on the road
  • Have great relationships with music and fashion labels, talent agencies, publicists, managers
  • Previous work executing productions in conjunction with large-scale tentpole events as varied as Sundance Film Festival, NBA All-Star Weekend, SXSW, Comic Con, Coachella, X Games, Sneaker Con, Winter Music Conference, Art Basel is a positive
  • Familiarity with CRM/budgeting software, like Quickbase, is a plus
