Complex Networks seeks an experienced and motivated Payroll/HRIS Manager to join our leading digital platform.  The role will be responsible for end-to-end execution of the HRIS & payroll process, and will participate in other various HR activities including onboarding, benefits, wellness and off-boarding of employees.

 

This is a great opportunity to manage the processes that touch every single employee, and leave your marks that make Complex Networks the employer people want to work for.  You will be expected to have opinions and solutions to everyday issues, and not be satisfied with status quo.  This role is heavy HRIS/Payroll, but expands into other elements of HR to tap into your full offering of skills, ideas and talent. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform the full process for semi-monthly payroll covering employees, interns and freelancers.
  • Own the building and maintenance of employee records from HRIS to payroll to personnel files.
  • Become an expert in our HR/Payroll system (Namely) to ensure we are tapping into all the appropriate features and functionality.
  • Recommend process improvements to make things more efficient and effective.
  • Ensure employees enroll timely & accurately in benefits, that deductions are assigned correctly, and vendors are getting proper electronic communication on any changes.
  • Partner with Finance to assist in the preparation of accounting transactions and documents.
  • Prepare and analyze necessary HR, payroll and tax reporting to identify anomalies and implement proactive measures while ensure proper compliance.
  • Participate in HR activities including new hire orientation, benefits communication & training, and wellness programs.

 

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of payroll experience with growth in responsibilities, ideally some exposure to other parts of HR
  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required
  • Self motivated, problem solver, great communicator, analytical and solid technology skills (HR/payroll software, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong attention to details with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly.
  • CPP designation preferred but not required
