Complex Networks is looking for a confident collaborator and relationship builder who approaches business with a partnership mentality to lead our Ad Operations team. We stay ahead of the market by offering excellent operations’ support that translates into sound results. We are looking for a seasoned Ad Operations Lead with extensive market knowledge, superior management, and training skills and intellectual curiosity.

The Ad Operations Lead will manage both internal and outsourced teams that execute display, mobile, video, and native advertising products while also partnering with Sales, Publisher Relations and Business Intelligence on pricing, analytics, and inventory optimization. This individual must work well in a team-based, fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and is expected to be resourceful and demonstrate initiative.

This role will report into our CFO and has a firm home-base of NYC.



  • Manage pre & post-sale (internal and outsourced offshore teams)
  • Create and/or update communication processes to support Sales and Publisher Relations departments
  • Formulate and implement changes to organizational structure, processes, policies, and procedures to meet operational needs and/or improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Train team to providing exceptional service to internal and external clients
  • Manage reporting and communication with sales, marketing, finance, etc.
  • Manage day-to-day operations with a forward thinking and positive attitude



  • 7+ years in AdOps, with at least 2+ years as a Manager of People/Director
  • Experience with DFP/DFA, Ooyala, FreeWheel, and Video players are required
  • Proven experience on video, mobile, and native advertising executions
  • Strong background in digital creative executions and project management
  • Extensive experience managing operations for a network
  • Attention to detail, thoroughness, accountability, excellent follow-through
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Must demonstrate a positive customer service attitude with both internal and external contacts
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks; ability to prioritize responsibilities; excellent time management; ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure
  • Ability to adapt to and operate effectively in fast-paced and evolving team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to train & motivate teams to own their business beyond expectations
