If yes, Rated Red is seeking a Social Media Manager to assist in the development of social strategies, execute all social posting and manage the Rated Red community.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate fresh thinking and creative, cutting-edge work that stands out from the clutter. 

 

This role has a firm base of Nashville, TN.

 

Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with Rated Red stakeholders, create the social editorial calendar and schedule all social media posts
  • Own presence across social channels, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter; evaluate and create launch strategies for other channels that would be favorable for Rated Red
  • Build and engage the community, answer community questions, support Rated Red social media fans, and provide feedback to Rated Red team
  • Identify and develop relationships with key bloggers and online influencers (new and existing) to build brand relevance
  • Create monthly and quarterly social media learnings and insights
  • Drive social engagement and integration strategy across channels, presenting an integrated, relevant experience for users
  • Assist with Social Paid Media campaigns

 

Required Competencies/Skills:

  • Broad knowledge of millennials in the “heartland” and their lifestyle (outdoors, military, active sports, hunting, fishing, video games, music)
  • Full awareness of where these communities live online
  • Understanding of interactive technologies and communication tools including email marketing, SEO/SEM, social networks, content marketing
  • Understanding of digital ad buys, including social, retargeting, search and beyond
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of popular photo and video applications
  • Knowledge of standard office programs including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment on short deadlines
  • Experience with digital marketing analytics tools
  • Experience writing and editing copy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Creative marketing ideas
  • Ability to plan, organize and execute campaigns in a timely manner

 

Special Requirements/Preferences:

  • 2-4 years of professional Social Media experience
  • 2-4 years of music/entertainment industry experience preferred; other related experience considered
